4S reviews the technical documentation machinery must meet under Machinery Directive 2006\/42\/EC and the Machinery Regulation (EU) 2023\/1230<\/a>, which applies from 20 January 2027 \u2013 or prepares it for you from scratch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What the Machinery Directive and Machinery Regulation require<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Machines and partly completed machinery are subject to fixed documentation requirements: in every case a written, documented risk assessment, plus an instruction handbook (or assembly instructions in the case of partly completed machinery). 4S reviews your existing documentation against these and further requirements, including standards \u2013 or creates it from scratch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also for older and existing machines<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Documentation obligations don\u2019t end with first commissioning. Under Section 12(5) of Austria\u2019s Employee Protection Act (ArbeitnehmerInnenschutzgesetz, ASchG):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWhere necessary, employees must be provided with suitable documents for information purposes. [\u2026] Operating instructions for work equipment, as well as package inserts, instructions for use and safety data sheets for hazardous substances, must in any case be made available to the employees concerned.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
