{"id":272,"date":"2016-07-23T12:00:17","date_gmt":"2016-07-23T10:00:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.safety-services.at\/?page_id=272"},"modified":"2026-09-07T11:50:00","modified_gmt":"2026-09-07T09:50:00","slug":"arbeitsplatzevaluierung","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.safety-services.at\/sv\/arbeitsplatzevaluierung\/","title":{"rendered":"Arbetsplatsutv\u00e4rdering enligt \u00f6sterrikiska ASchG"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">4S prepares a written workplace evaluation for you, as required of every employer by the Austrian Employee Protection Act (ArbeitnehmerInnenschutzgesetz, ASchG).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Section 4(1) ASchG \u2013 identification and assessment of hazards \u2013 it states:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Employers are obliged to identify and assess the hazards existing for the safety and health of employees. In doing so, the principles of hazard prevention under Section 7 must be applied.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">When a review becomes due<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The evaluation is not a one-off measure \u2013 it must be reviewed and adapted regularly. Under Section 4(5) ASchG, this applies in particular after accidents, in the case of work-related illnesses, when new work equipment, substances or work procedures are introduced, when new findings emerge, and at the reasoned request of the Labour Inspectorate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What you end up with<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A safety and health protection document under Section 5 ASchG with the minimum content required by the Documentation Ordinance (DOK-VO) \u2013 complete, up to date, and ready to present to the Labour Inspectorate if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Survey of the workplaces and activities, where applicable based on an existing, earlier evaluation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identification and assessment of the hazards on site.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You receive the safety and health protection document with the necessary measures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who this is for<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For every employer in Austria \u2013 especially if the existing evaluation is no longer up to date, new work equipment or work procedures have been introduced, or no written evaluation exists yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not sure whether your workplace evaluation is complete or needs to be updated?
